Cleaning the Inlet Strainer and Nozzle
• When the inlet strainer is clogged, the flow rate will decrease. Decreased flow rate can
lead to insufficient power generation, which will deplete the backup battery prematurely.
• To clean the strainer (see Ill. 1):
1. Turn the water off at the stop valves.
2. Remove controller cover and then remove
quick fastener.
3. Remove contorller.
4. Remove strainer and clean it with a brush.
5. Re-install the clean strainer.
IMPORTANT!
Be sure to install fow regulator in the correct
orientation as shown. Otherwise, product does
not function properly.
6. Re-install the controller into the adaper until
fully seated, and secure it with the quick
fastener.
7. Re-install cover, securing it with the screws.
8. Open angle stop and check all
connections.
• To clean the nozzle (see Ill. 2):
1. Remove the nozzle from the spout
with the suppplied tool.
2. Clean the nozzle with a soft brush
to remove any dirt from the screen.
3. Re-install the nozzle in the spout.
