Dress appropriately. Never use this machine barefoot
or with sandals. Use this machine with sturdy shoes
and long pants.
Keep all parts of your body away from cutting
elements and moving parts when the machine is
running. Before starting the machine, make sure that
the cutting element is not in contact with any object.
A moment of carelessness during machine operation
can cause your clothing or other body part to be cut
off by the cutting element of the tool.
Always hold the machine with your right hand on the
rear handle and your left hand on the front handle.
Use extreme caution when cutting. Fine materials can
be thrown at you, or cause you to lose your balance.
If you are an inexperienced user we recommend that
you have minimal practice on a flat surface.
If the machine vibrates abnormally, stop the engine,
inspect the machine for the possible cause and repair
it. If you cannot find the reason, take your machine to
your technical service.
Before leaving the machine unattended switch it off,
wait for the cutting tool to stop and disconnect it from
the mains.
When transporting the machine, hold it by the handle
with the machine switched off and away from body
parts. Proper handling will reduce the chance of
accidental contact with the cutting tool.
Store cordless power tools with the battery
disconnected and out of the reach of children.
2.2.1. WORK CLOTHES
Dress adequately. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewels. Maintain your hair, clothes and gloves well
away from all moving parts.
Use eye and ear protection always when using the
machine.
The noise of the machine is uncomfortable. Always
use ear protection. If you use this machine very often,
visit your doctor regularly to check up on your hearing
capacity.
Attention! As you are working with ear protectors, you
must pay more attention to visual warnings as you will
hear less because of the ear protectors.
We highly recommend the use of protection for head,
hands, arms and feet.
The use of appropriate working equipment and
conditions such as anti dust masks, working gloves,
non slippery boots and helmet will reduce the risk of
personal injury. The use of appropriate working clothes
will protect you from projected debris and in case of
contact with the cutting elements of the machine.
You must always carry:
• Tooling.
• Signalling tape to limit work area.
• Mobile phone (for use in case of an emergency).
2.3. WORK AREA SAFETY
Do not use this machine in explosive
atmospheres, as well as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases and dust.
Electrical machines create sparks that can ignite dust
or fumes.
