OPERATION - General
The appliance is intended
only for domestic use,
not for professional use.

OPERATION - Using for the first time
1. Unpack the appliance and remove all packaging.
2. Clean the appliance thoroughly to remove any manufacturing residues (see "Cleaning and
maintenance").

OPERATION - Use

1. Fill the measuring scoop (3) with popcorn maize, and sprinkle the popcorn maize into the popping
chamber (5). Do not add more than one measuring scoop of popcorn maize (approx. 60 gr). Do not
add any other ingredients to the popping chamber.
2. Place the transparent cover cap (4) straight into the notches of the housing (6) and fit the measuring
scoop in the lid. If you wish, you can put a pat of butter in the measuring scoop to melt it.
3. Use the lid (1) to collect and serve the popcorn.
4. Put the plug (2) into the wall socket.
5. Switch on the appliance by setting the on/off switch (7) to 'I'. After approx 2 minutes the first maize
kernels will pop.
6. Switch off the appliance by setting the on/off switch to '0'.
7. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
8. Allow the appliance to cool for about 10 minutes before using it again.
9. Maize kernels may remain in the popping chamber. Allow the appliance to cool, and then remove them
immediately. This will prevent any food residues from baking onto the interior of the popping chamber.
ATTENTION:
• Certain parts of the appliance can become hot; do not touch them, as you could burn yourself.
• Always use popcorn maize to prepare popcorn.
• Do not add other ingredients, such as sugar, butter or oil, to the popping chamber. Add these only
if the popcorn is already in the bowl.
• Do not leave the appliance switched on longer than necessary. If you do so, the appliance may
overheat and activate the overheating safeguard. Should the safeguard be activated, allow the
appliance to cool down completely before using it again.
TIPS
You will now have a full bowl of delicious popcorn. If you wish, you can bring your popcorn to taste using
the melted butter in the measuring scoop; you can also add sugar or salt.
