V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens.
- The tool is only suitable for cutting grass, lawns; maintain edges or flower beds within the limits of
its characteristics.
- This lawn trimmer is designed to maintain existing edges. It should not be used to create edges.
- Do not use the machine for applications not described in this manual.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for cutting wood ...). Do NOT operate on
damp or wet working area.
- The tool is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use (for ex.: in
public parks...).
5.2- Operation
Before any operation:
-- always visually inspect that the product does not show signs of use or damage
-- check that the screws, bolts and nuts are well tightened.
-- replace any used or damaged part, and tighten firmly the screws, bolts and nuts when needed.
Important - Before starting work
- Remove the blade protection.
- Check the nylon lines proper operation.
- Repeat several times the starting and stoppage of the machine to become familiar with it.
- Make trial work on small grass area to become familiar with handling the machine.
1. Ensure that battery is charged, otherwise proceed with charging.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
3. Clear working area off any objects likely to pose a hazard.
4. Inform persons to stay away from working area and machine while you are working.
5. Firmly hold tool with both hands, and always maintain a balanced and secure position.
6. Place nylon line above the cutting area. Do not make sudden movements.
7. Press on switches (3) then (2) to start operation.
8. Start operating on working area with slow left-to-right movement, working through small areas at
a time. Do not make sudden movements.
9. Never cut wet or very damp grass. Keep the trimmer away from hard surfaces.
10. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing the switch (2).
Note: do not put down product until the nylon line has completely stopped moving.
11. Replace the blade protection after use.

TART AND STOP THE ENGINE BY PRESSING AND RELEASING THE SWITCH GRADUALLY
ATTENTION! Do not assume of your knowledge of the tool.
DO not be filled (over repeated use) with a sense of ease and familiarity with the tool, neglecting
strict compliance to the safety instructions given with the tool.
Improper use of the tool or failure to comply with the provided safety instructions in this manual can
cause severe injury.
Remember that a split second of negligence is enough to cause serious damage.
Remain alert about your surroundings and especially for any danger that you may not hear while
using the tool.
