• Do not store or carry a spare battery pack in a
pocket or toolbox or any other place where it
may come into contact with metal objects. The
battery pack may be short circuited causing
damage to the battery pack, burns or a fire. If
storing or disposing the battery pack, cover the
terminals with a heavy insulation tape to en-
sure short circuit cannot occur. Batteries, when
stored for a long period of time, will discharge.
• Do not store or use the tool and battery pack
in locations where the temperature may reach
or exceed 50°C such as alongside sheds or met-
al structures in the summer.
• Allow the battery pack to cool down after
charging. Do not place it in a hot environment
such as a metal shed or open trailer left in the
sun.
• Only charge the battery with the charger sup-
plied.

INITIAL CHARGE OF THE DRILL
The package of the battery has been sent with
a low charge level to avoid possible problems.
Therefore, you will have top charge it at least
for 6 hours before beginning to use it.

TO CHARGE
After a normal use, it requires 3 hours of time
of charge to recharge the battery totally. A
minimum of 6 hours of charge is required to
load a totally discharged battery.
NOTE: The battery package will get lightly
warm during the load. This is normal and it
does not indicate that exists a problem.
DO NOT PLACE the charger in a very hot or
cold place. The charger works better at normal
temperatures.
1. To start charging,
remove battery pack
from the power tool
by the releasing but-
tons on both sides of
the tool.
2. Put battery pack on
the charger, aligning
positive with positive
terminal, and nega-
tive terminals toghet-
er.
3. Make sure that out-
let source is the same
in the nominal plate.
NOTE:
The
battery
charger will fit in both
positions, so be sure
to load the correct po-
sition.
INSERTING AND REMOVING A BIT
WARNING: Remove the battery pack and
set the forward/reverse control to the locked
center position when installing or removing
bits to prevent accidental starting.
TO INSTALL
Turn the keyless chuck
clockwise direction to
loosen the collet, insert
the bit or other accesso-
ry into the keyless chuck
and
tighten
securely
by turning the keyless
chuck counter-clockwise
direction. Make sure the keyless chuck is tight-
ened in place.
