Assure that the maintenance and repair of your power tool by a qualified repair person
using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
Special Safety Warning
Warning!: read and understand all the safety and operation instructions to avoid
hazardous situations.
This tool was not designed for a continuous use. To avoid overheating, do not exceed over 15
minutes of continuous use. Cold the tool for 10 minutes before using the tool again.
• Always wear eye protection
• Do not use damaged or cracked wheels
• The wheel diameter is 8 " (200 mm). If the wheel is reduced under 1.0 "(25 mm), it must be
replaced.
• The adjustment of the wheel guard is intended to reduce the damage in the grinding wheel.
It must be gradually adjusted to keep the distance between the wheel and the wheel cover as
short as possible but it must not be over 2 mm.
• Plug in the machine in a safety power network, 220 V~ - 240 V~ or 110 V~ as appropriate.
• Guard against electrical shock by preventing body contact with grounded surfaces. For
example: pipes, stoves, etc.
• Wear appropriate safety clothing (gloves, goggles, footwear, helmet and safety clothing)
• Do not use the hand that is not handling the tool to hold small pieces. Use the tools designed
for that purpose. For example: a vise.
• When using this tool at a considerable distance from power source, a conductor, groun-
ding-type extension cord of adequate size must be used for safety purposes. An extension
lead of cross sectional area of at least 0.75 mm2 is recommended for an extension cord 5
meters or less in length. Over 5 meters, 1.0 mm2 is recommended. Prevent loss of power to
avoid tool overheating.

for bench grinders
• Plug in the tool before operating
• Do not switch off the tool in a lateral or frontal manner using your hand.
Caution! : Use wheels including information provided by the manufacturer such
as sizes and revolutions per minutes described in the technical information of the
tool.
Installation
and set off
When removing the grinding wheel from its carton, check that all its parts and
parts are in place. If any of these are missing, go immediately with the full
product and proof of purchase to the place of purchase.
Mount and operation
1. Mount the grinder on a bench is required in order to prevent
movement. Tighten the tool using four bolts.
2. Install the spark breakers (3) in the wheel guard (4) using the
bolts provided in the kit.
Keep the distance between the wheel guard and the wheel as
short as possible but it must not be over 2 mm
DO NOT USE the bench grinder without spark protection to
avoid burns and fires.
