Before starting the assembly, make sure that you have all the necessary parts by taking an inventory from the parts list provided on
page 9.
• Installation on concrete slab is mandatory and imperative for warranty validation. Thickness: 10 cm minimum. Make sure that the slab is
perfectly flat, smooth and level.
SUMMARY :
- Wall assembly
- Reinforcements and bracket installation
- Preparation of the walls
- Felt and liner installation
- Cutting of delivery and suction nozzles
- Fir coping installation
2a – Position the horizontal reinforcements flush with the upper edge outside the structure. Level and screw in from inside the pool until the screw heads are drowned.
2b – Pre-drill 3 holes diameter 6 mm (on the corners).
2c – Enlarge the holes to a depth of 45 mm using a 12 mm diameter flat drill bit and screw in using 3 6x90 screws.
2d – Pre-drill 3 holes diameter 6 mm and screw to the junctions using 3 screws 6x90 mm.
2e – Position the brackets in the up-down direction, draw their position, drill and screw until the screw heads are drowned.
2f – Screw the horizontal reinforcement with the brackets.
3a – Drill the rails to size (3 cm from the ends and then every 20 cm approximately).
3b – Screw the first liner rail with 4x40 stainless steel screws.
3c – At the corners, partially cut the rail into «V» shapes so that the profile can be bent. Screw on both sides of the corner at 3 cm and then screw all the rails together. The rail of a
wall can be composed of several segments placed end to end.
First of all, carefully clean the concrete slab and remove splinters or shards from the walls with abrasive paper to make all supports clean and
smooth.
4a – Install the protective felt for the floor.
4b – Cut the protective felt with a cutter or a pair of scissors.
4c – At the discharge and at the suction nozzle, place the cork seal (A) in contact with the wall and then superimpose one of the 2 white round seals (B), making sure that they adhere well.
4d – Place the liner in place at an outside temperature between 20 and 25°C.
4e – Match the corners of the liner with the bottom corners of the pool.
4f – Hang the liner in the lip of the rail.
4g – Spread the liner on the ground, removing the folds.
4h – Put in 2 cm of water.
4i – Remove the remaining folds and resubmerge up to 5 cm below the discharge nozzle.
5a – Stop impoundment below the first nozzle.
5b – Position the nozzles (delivery and suction) from inside the pool.
5c – Cut the liner at the nozzles, leaving a gap of about 2 mm. Insert the white gaskets B and the nozzles (delivery and suction).
5d – Tighten the outer nut of the nozzles sufficiently to ensure tightness by means, if necessary, of the tip mentioned in the diagram.
5e – Cover the threaded part of the end caps with Teflon tape in a counter-clockwise direction. Minimum 20 revolutions.
5f – Screw the end caps to the discharge and suction side.
5g – Install the pipes at the discharge and suction side by fixing them with a metal clamp.
5h – Install the filtration system in compliance with the hydraulic installation instructions mentioned in the instructions accompanying the cartridge filtration. Replenish the pool to
within 10 cm of the coping.
• Be careful not to use the parts numbered 6 to 15 provided in the Intex filtration box.
6a – Pre-drill the inner coping stones approximately every 70 cm and screw them in. Start at least 3 cm from the ends.
6b – Pre-drill the outer edges.
6c – Screw in the outer coping stones.
6d – Position the corner and straight plates. Pre-drill and screw in using the 6 x 30 screws provided in the board box.
The coping is a finishing element. It is strictly forbidden to walk, run or sit on it.
The following are not covered by the warranty: discolourations, deformations (chinks, fissures, cracks, knots or splinters) natural or
resulting from improper installation.
1a – Retrofit the first row of beams, tabs facing upwards in accordance with the drawing. As the tabs are intended to align the
beams correctly when they are interlocked, their absence or small size breaks do not in any way affect the mechanical
resistance of the wood or the solidity and the assembly of the pool.
1b – Secure these beams in place using the metal studs (corner and right). Position the reinforcement strip on the ground, in the
centre of the pool after bending it 21.4 cm on each side as shown in the diagram, coinciding the holes in the strip and the
posts. Secure with the lower 12x120 japy bolt of the K3 bag loosely. Position all the bolts of the K3 bag on each post.
1c – Nest all the beams using the martyr piece provided for this purpose. Position the discharge beam (MR) in the second row
and the suction beam (MR) in the fourth row.
1d – Check the alignment of the posts and beams and the diagonals (10 m tape); A = B.
1e – Tighten all Japy bolts on all posts.
1f – Prepare the drilling of the upper beams, respecting the dimensions.
1g – Nail the finishing boards to the posts.
