By clicking on the button "COM Server" another dialogue window opens, in which the
connection between a free computer COM port and the previously assigned fix IP address can
be entered. The first free computer COM port is shown, so just enter the IP address. To do this,
remove the check at "Set target by Registry ". If necessary also a different free computer COM
port can be entered, for this press the button "Port Number". The other settings generally do not
need to be altered.

The Ethernet/RS422-RS485 converter is now completely installed. The temperature chambers
are now registered in the communication software APT-COM™ with the COM number that has
been assigned to the Ethernet / RS 422 converter they are (each or altogether, depending on
the way of networking, see chap. 5.1 and 5.2) connected to. The chamber address required for
the unambiguous chamber identification must be entered by hand individually and only once at
the controller of each temperature chamber or measurement device. For a description see the
respective operating manual of the chamber or device bearing an RS 422 interface or RS485
interface.
