I. USING THE DEVICE WITH THE ELECTRODES
This function allows you to use the adhesive electrodes by connecting them directly to the motor units.
You can use Global Stim with 1 or both of the 2 units.
To use Global Stim with 1 single unit, use the «master» unit
To use the 2 «master» and «slave» units, please ensure that they are connected using the cable provided.

Remove the plastic backing sheet from the electrodes (photo 1-A page 2).

Moisten them by spreading a few drops of water onto the adhesive gel using your fingertips and wait 2 minutes (photo 1-B

Fix the electrodes to the unit(s) using the snap fasteners (photo 1-C page 2).

Position the unit(s) onto your body (cf positions shown for guidance only.)

NB: The electrodes are for personal use. For hygiene reasons, they must always be used by the same person.

S tarting the program:

Start your device by following the «Starting the device» procedure (chapter III).
Contractions should be firm but must never cause any pain.
If the electrodes cause you any discomfort: reduce the power levels, move the electrode(s) and then gradually increase the
power. Also ensure that the electrodes are sufficiently moistened.
Now that the settings have been optimized, let your device get to work for the full duration of the program.

Once the program has finished, switch off the device by pressing the «ON/OFF» button, then disconnect the units.

Gently remove the electrodes from your skin.

Moisten them slightly with a few drops of water and replace them carefully onto their transparent plastic backing sheet.

Keep the adhesive electrodes in a plastic bag in a cool place (for example, a separate compartment in your refrigerator).
II. USING THE DEVICE WITH THE BELT
The GlobalStim belt has 2 pairs of snap fasteners onto which 2 wireless electrodes specially designed by SPORT-ELEC® are
clipped.
To obtain new electrodes, contact your usual retailer or order them from our website www.sport-elec.com.

Never use the belt without attaching the 2 electrodes provided.

Check that your device is switched off.

Open out the belt.

Fix the electrodes to the inside of the belt using the snap fasteners.

Place the belt around the waist and adjust it using the Velcro strip, so that there is a good contact between the electrodes and

the skin. If required, use the belt extension.
Once the belt is in position, fix the motor units onto the snap fasteners. Connect the lead between the 2 units, and store it in

the wire storage pouch.

Once your device is connected, make yourself comfortable and switch it on following the «Starting the device» procedure
detailed in chapter III.
You can carry out your normal activities while using GlobalStim.

III. STARTING THE DEVICE
This electro-stimulation device is a state-of-the-art appliance; it complies with the standards in force in the field of medical
application.
GlobalStim can be used just with electrodes with a single or both motor units, or with the electro-stimulation belt onto which
the electrodes and the 2 motor units are attached.
NB: It is only possible to work with a single motor unit when using the «master» unit.
The «man machine» interface has been made as simple as possible.
The number displayed on the screen (from 1 to 8) indicates the program selected via the «P» key.
Two graduated scales (1 per channel) located to the left of the screen enable you to see the power level of each motor unit.
You will also find 6 control keys (see diagram chapter V.2):

1 pair of «+/-» keys on each unit, to adjust the stimulation power of each channel.

NB: A long press (1 second) on the «-» key brings the power quickly back to zero.

A brief press on the «ON/OFF» key turns on the device.

Each time it is switched on, the device carries out an auto-test on 11 safety parameters.
During the auto-test, the screen lights up for ½ second.
If an internal defect is detected, all program numbers flash.

In this case, switch off your device and send it back to your retailer' s after-sales service.
A long press (of more than 3 seconds) on the «ON/OFF» key activates the auto-test.

NB: It is possible to stop the ongoing auto-test by switching off the device (press the «ON/OFF» key).
P rogram selection «P»

Programs are shown on the right side of the screen by the numbers from 1 to 8.

Simply press the «P» button briefly one or several times.
f

Program numbers are displayed in sequence from 1 to 8 on the screen.
As soon as a program is selected, the corresponding number is displayed (see program details chapter IV).
Once the number of the required program is displayed, start your session by pressing the «+» key on the slave and/or master

unit.

The program number of the program in use remains lit on the screen for the full duration of the program.

When a program is running, the «P» key is inactive.

However, if you have started a session and wish to change the program, you must turn off the device and then switch it back

on in order to select another program.
There are 64 levels available to regulate the power from 0 to 64.
