If resistance is unusually high when you insert the cartridge strip, check whether the cartridge strip is
compatible with this fastening tool.

6.1
Loading fastening tool (single-fastener tool)
1. Push the fastener into the fastener guide from the front until the washer of the fastener is held in place in
the fastener guide (1).
2. Push a cartridge strip, narrow end first, into the cartridge barrel (2).
▶ The cartridge strip is fully recessed in the cartridge barrel.
3. Cycle the fastening tool with the cycling grip.
▶ The fastening tool is loaded and ready for use.
6.2
Loading fastening tool (magazine)
1. Insert the strip of ten fasteners into the magazine (1).
2. Push a cartridge strip, narrow end first, into the cartridge barrel (2).
▶ The cartridge strip is fully recessed in the cartridge barrel.
3. Cycle the fastening tool with the cycling grip (3).
▶ The fastening tool is loaded and ready for use.
6.3
Setting driving energy
Select the energy setting that suits the application. If no empirical values are available, always start with the
minimum driving energy. Increase driving energy step by step until the fastener is driven correctly.

1. To increase power, turn the adjusting knob for driving energy in the + direction.
Energy levels:

1 = lowest energy
•
4 = highest energy
2. To reduce power, turn the adjusting knob for driving energy in the − direction.
3. Check whether the fastener was correctly driven in accordance with the operating instructions of the
fastener.
6.4
Driving fasteners
1. Hold the fastening tool perpendicular to the base material and press the fastening tool against the surface
until it is fully compressed (1).
