INTENDED USE / APPLICATION
The product intended for monitoring closed areas for carbon monoxide.
MOUNTING
Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately quali ed person. Any
activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Mounting diagram: see pictures. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection
to electrical power prior to rst use. Sensor should be installed in a room in which there is the risk of carbon monoxide. The device must not be
mounted: in the vicinity of windows, doors, fans, air conditioners, in rooms with high levels of dust, in rooms in which the temperature exceeds
the working range of the device, in places hard to reach such as behind furniture, curtains. At a distance of less than 60cm from heating or kitchen
devices, over sources of heat e.g. radiators, in places where the device can be easily damaged, outside the building. The device should be installed
at a distance of at least 150 cm from equipment powered by fuel, and at least 150 cm above the ground. In larger rooms, sensors have to be
installed within a distance of 10m from one another. The carbon monoxide sensor cannot be used as a smoke sensor. The carbon monoxide
detector should be installed in rooms in which there is a device with an open or closed combustion chamber, or where people sleep or spend
most of their time. If the fuel-burning device is in a room that is usually unused/not visited, e.g. in a boiler room, the carbon monoxide detector
should be placed near the room - so that the alarm signal can be heard well.
FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
The installation of the device should not be used as a substitute of a correct installation, use and maintenance of devices for fuel combustion
including correct ventilation and exhaust systems. Product for indoor use. In the event of a threat, the sensor triggers an alarm - light and sound
signals. The TEST button is used to test the device. It is a non-demountable device powered by 1,5V batteries of the LR6 (AA) type. The alarm
consists of a series of 4 tones with one second intervals and a ashing red "ALARM" LED diode. The device displays on the LCD screen the
concentration of carbon monoxide in the air in the range of 25 to 550 ppm. A value of 000 ppm is displayed below 25 ppm, as well as the current
room temperature. When the value exceeds 550 ppm, the Hco message is displayed (high concentration of carbon monoxide). The detector
activates the alarm if it detects a certain concentration of carbon monoxide in a speci c period of time - see the table. The device is equipped with
an LCD display. Battery status is displayed on the LCD screen.
The product features a low battery warning - the detector emits single sound signals at intervals of 45 seconds. In the case of failure of the sensor,
the device displays the message "Err" and generates 2 sound signals once every 10 seconds, as well as light signals by ashing the yellow "FAULT"
LED diode. The end of the life of the detector is indicated by the message "END", a double sound signal, and quick double ashing of the LED
diodes "FAULT" and "ALARM". The device has the ability to silence the alarm for a short time - press the "TEST/MENU" button during the alarm. The
device is equipped with a memory of the maximum and average concentrations of carbon monoxide, which occurred in the past 24 hours - press
and hold the TEST/MENU button until the display shows the message "Ph =". Pressing "TEST/MENU" when "Clr" is displayed on the LCD screen will
delete the stored maximum and average concentrations of carbon monoxide, which occurred in the past 24 hours. The detector does not detect
other toxic, ammable gases.
