OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

MULTISTAGE COOKING

Some recipes require different stages of cooking
at different temperatures. To set a two stage cook
program:
1. Press the Power Level button repeatedly to
choose the power level and then use the number
pad to enter the desired cooking time for the fi rst
stage. Do not start the program.
2. Press the Cook button once.
3. Press the Power Level button repeatedly to
choose the power level and then use the number
pad to enter the desired cooking time for the
second stage.
4. Press the Start/Stop button to begin operation.
This microwave can also be set with three stages of
cooking if Speed Defrost is set as the fi rst stage. For
example:
1. Press the Speed Defrost button and then use the
number pad to enter the desired defrosting time.
Do not start the program.
2. Press the Cook button once.
3. Press the Power Level button repeatedly to
choose the power level and then use the number
pad to enter the desired cooking time for the fi rst
cooking stage. Do not start the program.
4. Press the Cook button once.
5. Press the Power Level button repeatedly to
choose the power level and then use the number
pad to enter the desired cooking time for the
second cooking stage.
6. Press the Start/Stop button to begin operation.
During operation the microwave will pause and
beep to indicate that the food should be turned over
or stirred. Press the Start/Stop button to resume
operation after stirring.
TIMER
To set the timer function:
1. Press the Timer button.
2. Use the number pad to enter the desired time to
run the timer. The maximum time is 99 minutes
and 99 seconds.
3. Press the Start/Stop button to begin timer
operation.
Note: The buzzer will beep at the end of the
program. Press the timer button during the program
to check the remaining time. Press the reset button
while the time is displayed to cancel the timer.

SPEED DEFROST

1. Press the Speed Defrost button.
2. Use the number pad to enter the desired
defrosting time. The maximum time is 99 minutes
and 99 seconds.
3. Press the Start/Stop button to confi rm.
During operation the microwave will pause and
beep to indicate that the food should be turned over
or stirred. Press the Start/Stop button to resume
operation after stirring.

DEFROST BY WEIGHT

The defrosting time and power level are adjusted
automatically once the weight is entered.
1. Press the Defrost by Weight button.
2. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the
food that will be defrosted. The weight ranges
from 4 oz to 4 lbs. Weight must be entered in
pounds and ounces.
3. Press the Start/Stop button to confi rm.
During operation the microwave will pause and
beep to indicate that the food should be turned over
or stirred. Press the Start/Stop button to resume
operation after stirring.
