Functionality and Operation
Main switch
With the two-pole, illuminated main switch the
extension socket can be switched off completely.
Surge protection
The built in surge voltage suppressor prevents
appliances connected to the multiple socket outlet
from being damaged by voltage peaks in the mains,
e.g. as a result of indirect lightning strikes or the
activation of inductive loads, such as motors, hea-
ters, lamps, etc. For a correct operation, the multi-
ple socket must be connected to a socket with a
professionally installed protective earth.
