Problem

Engine oil level too low.
Engine cooling faulty.
Screws, nuts, or other fasteners
loose
Cutting head attachment has
become loose.
Cutting head damaged.
Engine not secure.
Cutting line too short or worn.
Drive belt of cutting head
damaged or worn.
Grass too damp.
Sharp drop in engine power.
Operating instructions
Remedy
Top up engine oil.
Clean the area around the engine.
Tighten parts. If the noises persist:
Contact a specialist garage.
Retighten both wing nuts on the
cutting head.
Have it replaced by a specialised
garage.
Engine must be secured at specialist
garage.
Fit new cutting line.
Have it replaced by a specialised
garage.
Let the lawn dry.
Select taller cutting height; mow twice
if required.
