The balance on the headphones means that you can adjust the
balance between the left and right earpiece, so that you can hear
with both ears.
Turn the control knob clockwise to have the sound go only to the
•
left earpiece.
Turn the control knob anticlockwise to have the sound go only to
•
the right earpiece.
Position the control knob in the centre to distribute the sound
•
evenly between the left and right.
These stethoscope-style headphones have a built-in microphone.
The microphone amplifies sounds in the vicinity, such as
conversations for example, and emits them through the two
earpieces.
To activate the microphone and pause the sounds from your sound
source, press the MIC button, as shown opposite.
Press the MIC button again to deactivate this function.
The MONO/STEREO selector adapts to the selected sound source:
1. Set the selector to STEREO: if you can hear sound in both
earpieces, the connected sound source is stereophonic. This is
the correct setting.
2. If you can only hear sound in one earpiece, your sound source
is monophonic. Set the selector to MONO: you will be able to hear
the sound in both earpieces.
