Using your Minute Grill
■
Preheating and cooking
Unwind the power cord completely.
Leave the appliance closed and
plug in. The indicator light should
come on. Your appliance is now
warming up.
After a few minutes, on reaching
the cooking temperature, the
indicator light goes out. Cook your
food according to the cooking
method described below.
We recommended that you wait for the indicator
light to switch off before putting food on it.
Three positions for total grilling
Your Minute Grill's special tilting
plates
provide
three
different
operating positions.
■
Two sides to seal meat
top and bottom
Open the grill then
lower the top plate
onto the meat. The hot
plate spacing is adjusted automa-
tically according to the thickness of
the meat to be grilled, up to 4 cm
for the thickest cuts.

Double surface plates to grill
meat and vegetables at the
same time
Open the Minute
Grill. Pull the top
plate
upwards
while tilting slightly forwards : the
pivot locks into the top position.
The grill can now be opened
Cleaning your Minute Grill
Before cleaning or carrying out
■
maintenance, unplug the appliance
and allow it to cool.
Remove the plates and rinse with
■
hot water and washing up liquid.
Do not use abrasive or corrosive
■
cleaning products or scouring pads.
A quick wipe with a sponge is
■
adequate to clean the outside of
the grill.
Do not forget to place a
small container under the drip
channel of your plates to collect
any juices that might run off.
■
After cooking
Unplug your grill. Keep closed and
allow to cool before cleaning it.

Dual-grill for gratins and
fragile meats and to reheat
Open the Minute Grill,
remove the top section
support to keep the
top section up and pull the plate up
as described above so that the pivot
locks into the top position. Fold
back the top plate.
The two plates are held the
maximum distance apart. You
can grill fragile foods without
squashing them. By using a suitable
oven dish for the dimensions of the
plates, you can make gratins and
heat
up
fresh
and
convenience foods.
Aluminium trays can be placed
directly on the plates.
Removing and refitting the
■
plates. Press the spring locks and
pull out the plates. To refit, insert
the rear of the plate and press.
Check that it has slotted into place.
Vertical storage: wind the cord
■
around the two handles and clip
into the place provided under the
front leg.
