6.6.1 Switching Teletext on/off
> Switch to the channel whose Teletext information you want to
view.
> Press the Teletext button to activate Teletext.
If the channel broadcasts Teletext information, you will see Page
100 (overview) appear.
> You can return to TV mode by pressing the Teletext button
again.
6.6.2 Selecting pages
> Use the numerical keypad 0 to 9 to enter the page number in
three-digit form. Your input is displayed in the top left corner of
the screen. Since Teletext pages cannot be transmitted all at the
same time, it might take a few seconds before your TV set fi nds
the page and displays it on-screen.

> Use the red or green button to browse forwards or backwards a
page at a time.
> If you press the yellow function button, you can access the
Teletext group that is displayed in the yellow fi eld.
> If you press the blue function button, you can access the Teletext
block that is displayed in the blue fi eld.
6.6.3 Teletext subpages
Many Teletext pages are made up of several subpages. This is
indicated by two numbers separated by a slash on the Teletext
screen (current subpage / number of subpages). As soon as a new
subpage becomes available it is displayed automatically.
> To display a particular subpage, press the OK button.
The column at the left edge of the screen becomes active. The
subpages that have already been imported are marked.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the subpage that you
want.
> To close the subpage selection display, press the OK button
again.
6.6.4 Additional Teletext functions
Certain additional Teletext functions can only be accessed whilst
the lower command line of the Teletext window is active.
> To activate the lower command line, press the Back button.
The relevant symbols are now marked in colour.
6.6.4.1Stop mode
> To prevent the subpages from changing automatically, press the
red function button. The currently displayed subpage will now be
displayed continuously. (STOP appears in the header).
> You can reactivate automatic subpage switching by pressing
this button again.

> Whilst the additional Teletext functions are not activated,
press the Stop button to prevent the pages from changing
automatically.

6.6.4.2 Magnifying a Teletext page
> To magnify a Teletext page, press the green function button.
The top half of the page will then be displayed magnifi ed.
> If you press the green function button again, the lower half of the
Teletext page will be displayed magnifi ed.
> To display the page at its normal size again, press the green
function button once more.
6.6.4.3 Displaying hidden information
> To display hidden information (e.g. solutions to quizzes, and
VPS times, etc) press the yellow function button.
> You can hide this information again by pressing the yellow
function button once more.
6.6.4.4 Displaying the TV picture without leaving Teletext
> You can display the TV picture by pressing the blue function
button and hide it again by pressing this button once more.
6.6.4.5 Adjusting the brightness in Teletext mode
> If you press the Back button again, you will access the brightness
settings for Teletext mode.
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to adjust the brightness as
desired.
6.6.4.6 Changing the Teletext font
If, contrary to expectations, the necessity arises, you can change
the font of the Teletext decoder manually.
> If you press the Back button again, you will access the font
settings.
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to select the font that suits the
language of the Teletext information being broadcast.
6.7 Sleep timer
The sleep timer provides you with a simple method of setting a
switch-off time for your TV set.
> To activate the sleep timer, press the Sleep timer button.
A menu window appears in which you can check the set
countdown time.
> You can use the right/left arrow buttons to adjust the countdown
time of the sleep timer in „15-minute steps" or you can switch off
the timer completely.
> You can return to normal mode by pressing the TV/Radio
button.
The countdown time of the sleep timer is displayed in the info
box.
