2 Safety

Important: please read the user instructions carefully, especially the
chapter on "Safety", before using the appliance. This will protect you
from possible dangers and the appliance from damage due to incor-
rect operation.
Keep for future use! Keep these instructions in a safe place for future
reference. If you pass on the appliance to someone else, be sure to
hand over these instructions as well. The user instructions are a part
of the product.
Explanation of warnings
If necessary, the following warnings will be used in these user in-
structions:
DANGER! High risk: failure to observe this warning may re-
sult in injury to life and limb.
WARNING! Moderate risk: failure to observe this warning may result
in injury or serious material damage.
CAUTION: low risk: failure to observe this warning may result in mi-
nor injury or material damage.
NOTE: circumstances and specifics that must be observed when
handling the appliance.

Intended use
These hair clippers may only be used to cut human hair.
The appliance is designed for indoor use only! Do not use out-
doors (garden, patio etc.)!
The appliance was developed for professional use in a salon.
Reasonably foreseeable misuse
These hair clippers may only be used to cut human hair, but never
for other body parts, animals or objects.
Do not use the hair clippers on damp or wet hair.

Instructions for safe operation

WARNING! Keep the appliance dry.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years
and up and by individuals with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experi-
ence and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have been trained in the safe use of the appli-
ance and have understood the resulting dan-
gers. Children must not play with the appliance.

performed by children without supervision.
DANGER! Do not use this appliance close
to bathtubs, showers, washbasins or other
receptacles containing water.
