Removing the cutter head
1. Pull the power unit 9 out of the power
socket.
2. From above, press against the cutter
head 2 (see figure) and remove it from the
hair clippers 6 .
Cleaning the cutter head
1. Carefully remove the hair with a cleaning
brush (not included in the items sup-
plied).
2. Move the cutting-length lever 4 back and
forth several times, to shift the upper and
bottom blade in front of one another.
Oiling the cutter head
NOTE: the items supplied do not include oil. Use an oil suitable for
hair clippers. Mind the manufacturer's information.
1. Oil all parts in the front and on both sides
of the cutter head 2 marked by arrows on
the adjacent figure.
2. To allow the oil to spread well, let the
appliance run briefly after attaching the
cutter head 2. In the meantime, you may
well continue with your work.

Putting on the cutter head
1. Ensure that the power unit 9 is not
plugged in a power socket.
2. First, place the cutter head 2 with the bot-
tom part into the appliance (see figure)
and then press it upwards with one swivel
movement. Do not use force. The cutter
head must clearly click into place.
Cleaning the other parts
• The attachment combs 15 can be cleaned in water with mild
detergent.
• Use a soft cleaning brush (not included in the items supplied) to
remove hair from the hair clippers 6, especially around the rotary
switch 3 and the cutting-length lever 4.
• The appliance should occasionally be wiped down with a damp
cloth (possibly with a little detergent).
• Wipe all parts completely dry before putting them away or using
them again.
