Instructions for conversion to 8 mbar town gas
for model 51AFDK, HFW236
If you want to operate your hob using 8 mbar town gas, it must be conver-
ted (adapted).

Important: The conversion may only be performed by an authorised gas fit-
ter.

Important: Before using for the first time check for leaks.
The conversion set consists of

1. Take off pan bracket, both burner covers (disc cover and ring cover) and
burner crown without using tools (fig. 1).
2. Replace the main jet (fig. 2). To do this you will need a 7 mm socket span-
ner.
3. Screw the air regulator onto the main jet as tight as it will go
(fig. 3).
4. Remove the knob and the rubber seal on the control panel (fig. 4).
5. Adjust the low setting jet (fig. 4).
6. Use a water proof pen to write on the conversion label and stick it on the
underside of the hob near the gas tap (fig. 5).
7. As a final check, turn the knob of the burner quickly (in about 1 second)
from the maximum setting to the minimum setting. When you do this, the
flame must not go out. If this should happen, an adjustment of the low
setting jet is required.
8. After the conversion has been carried out all jets are to be re-sealed.
