USE
HOW TO USE THE MIXER
• Before using the mixer for the first time, you must clean all the accessories (C1-C6) with warm
water and a little washing-up liquid (except the motor unit (A)). You must rinse them out and
dry them carefully. Handle the blades with caution they are very sharp.
• Make sure to remove all wrapping materials before using the mixer.
• Place the seal (C3) on the blade unit (C2) and the blade unit (C2) on blade base (C1). Make
sure that these pieces are assembled correctly.
• Set the glass jug on the blade base and turn it clockwise to engage it.
• Place the ingredients you wish to mix inside the glass jug. Begin with the liquid ingredients
without exceeding the maximum level (1.25 l).
• Place the glass jug (C) on the motor unit (A). There are two possible positions: to the right or
to the left. If the jug is not correctly positioned, the mixer will not work. Put the lid on (C5+C6)
and check that it is well correctly fitted.
• This appliance is equipped with a security device that prevents the motor from functioning if
the bowl unit is not positioned correctly.
• Plug in the appliance, turn it on and choose the speed that best suits your preparation by re-
ferring the Speed Selection Chart (B).
• To stop the appliance, press the 0-SCREEN button (B1) on the Speed Selection Chart (B).
• Whenever you use the appliance, always make sure that the lid (C5) and the measuring cap
(C6) are positioned correctly.
We recommend that you keep the lid in place with your hand while using the appliance, especially
when you crush ice.
