Safety notes
Avoid danger due to damaged power supply cables.
In the case of damage, the power supply cable must
be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer
service department or an equally qualified person.
• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• The socket power supply is only suitable for indoor use.
• The functional unit and plug-in connectors must not be
directly or indirectly sprayed with water when cleaning.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable.
Applications
Thermostatic mixers are designed for hot water supplies from
pressurised storage heaters and offer the highest temperature
accuracy when used in this way. With sufficient power output
(from 18 kW or 250 kcal/min), electric or gas instantaneous
heaters are also suitable.
Thermostats cannot be used in connection with unpressurised
storage heaters.
All thermostats are adjusted in the factory at a flow pressure
of 45 psi on both sides.

Electrical installation
Electrical installation work must only be
performed by a qualified electrician. This
work must be carried out in accordance with
the regulations according to IEC 364-7-701-1984
(corresponding to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well
as all national and local regulations.
Always switch off the power supply
before making electrical connections.
New installation
During installation, please note:
• The lid of the function unit must be removable to permit
maintenance work.
• The function unit must not be installed with the lid facing
downwards.
Prepare the wall for the installation, refer to the dimensional
drawing on fold-out page I.
Install function unit, see fold-out page II, figs. [1] to [9].
Observe printing on the lid.
1. Prepare holes for the function unit as well as slots for
the pipes and vacant tubes, see fold-out page II, figs. [1]
to [4].
2. The vacant tube (6m) provided must be used when
connecting the function unit to the faucet and the plug
power supply.
3. Unscrew screws and remove lid, see fig. [5].
4. Align and fasten function unit in place, see fig. [6].
Do not solder the connections.
