3. Pedals:
When mounting the pedals, please note that one of the pedals has a right-hand thread another a left-hand
thread. You recognize this on the embossing "L" and "R" on the pedal [Fig. 3].
The pedal with the marking "R" belongs to the right side of the wheel in the direction of travel
(Chain Guard Side), the pedal with "L" on the left side. The in the direction of travel left crank arm has a left
thread, The pedal need to be screwed in the counterclockwise direction.
Not in a clockwise direction as in the direction of travel right pedal.
Please lubricate the pedal thread and the thread of the crank arm with grease and screw the pedal carefully
and straight in. Please screw the pedals with a torque of 30-35nm
The left pedal fits only to the left crank, the right pedal only to the right crank.
The crank arms are marked with unique stickers for this reason.
The non-observance of pedal marking (left and right) and violent mounting of the
pedals inevitably leads to the destruction of the threads at the crank! (Fig. 2)
4. Front wheel:
For transport reasons, the bike fork is delivered wrong way around with most of our bicycle models.
Please turn the bike fork by 180 ° (V-brake looks forward [Fig. 4]). Now take the front wheel and screw off the
cap nuts on both sides and also remove the washer with external tab.
Loosen the brake cable nut so that the two brake legs fold out.
So you can easily insert the front wheel into the bike fork.
Use lock washers to secure the front wheel to the bike fork.
Then turn the axle nuts back on the axis and tighten them (alternately and on both sides).
Now your bike is safe on all fours.
