8 Description

The fundamentals of control technology can be taught with a mini control system integrated into this
EduTrainer
®
.
Various connection and control components are available for connection of the mini control systems:
Four pushbutton/latched switches at input sockets I3 through I6
Two analog value generators, 0 ... 10 V
Eight switchable outputs (relay/digital), Q1 through Q8
Four floating outputs, Q9 through Q12
Two 15-pin system interfaces
One RJ45 socket
Wiring of the inputs and outputs depends on the controller used and the project
(see chapter 10 Operation).
The examples in this description refer to a sample device equipped with a Siemens LOGO!
Note
Relays 6 and 7 have a common connection. Thus the upper 4 mm safety sockets of Q7 and Q8 are
connected to each other in these EduTrainers
