socket, because water proximity presents risk, even if the device is turned off.
15. Do not allow the device to get wet. If the device falls into water, immediately
remove the power plug from the socket. If the device is powered, do not put hands in the
water. Have the device checked by the qualified electrician before using it again.
16. Do not touch the device or power adaptor with wet hands.
17. Never use the device in high humidity rooms – bathroom, shower room, swimming
pools etc. The humidity can cause short circuit, and effect in damaging the device.
18. Do not connect the device to the automatic switching device, for example
temperature controlling device or time switch.
19. Flammable materials, for example furniture, bedclothes, paper, clothes, curtains should
be kept at least one meter from the device.
20.The heating surfaces can heat to a temperature of 60°C or higher. The device should
be in a place that children and animals do not have access to.
21.The device is not intended to be installed or used in vehicles.
22. Some parts inside the device can be hot or cause sparking. Do not use the device in
places, where gasoline, paints or other flammable materials are used or stored.
23. The device must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
24. Do not cover the device or put any objects on it while it is operating. Do not use the
device to dry clothes.
"Caution Hot Surface" - The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher
when the equipment is in operation, which means that the housing elements
become hot during operation, BE CAREFUL !!!
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating - do not cover the heater. The device is
not to be covered with clothing, blankets and other textile products which could
cause ignition.
ASEMBLY OF THE HEATER
Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the
heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side
mouldings. Look at picture D.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly assembled.
Do not place the device on carpets having a very high pile. Ensure that the device is not located close to curtains or furniture as this
could create a fire hazard.
Place the device on flat, even surface.
Always unplug the device before moving it from one location to another.
WARNING: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long
period of time that the heating elements may emit some smell and fumes. The smell and fumes will disappear after short time of
operation.
WARNING: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out this device must not be supplied through an
external switching device such as a timer or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own,
unless constant supervision is provided.
