Your installation may include a maximum of 2 indoor monitors.
NB
If you wish to control your Somfy RTS gate drive remotely via the monitor, you must save the radio control before the
final monitor installation procedure (the monitor must be brought to the gate drive while powered via its mains adapter).
Please refer to the V100+ instructions, chapter 7.3 Saving the gate drive to the monitor memory.
Disconnect the mains adapter from the monitor already installed before adding the new monitor.
[1]. Secure the additional monitor mounting plate to the wall.
Important: Ensure the direction of fitting is correct by positioning the arrow upwards ("UP" facing upwards) as shown in the
illustration.
Note: You can also use the mounting screws provided in standard flush-mounting boxes; the distance between the plate
mounting holes is the same.
[2]. Remove the DC connector from the rear of the additional monitor and connect the cable from the mains power adapter
provided to this connector: white wire with black lines on the right (+) and completely white wire on the left (-).
Note: You can use a mains adapter compatible with the DIN rail as an option (ref. 9026469).
[3]. Connect the mains power adapter connector to the DC input on the rear of the additional monitor in the direction shown
in the illustration (screws to the right); the direction in which the wires are connected to the power adapter is important.
Important: It is essential to use the mains power adapter provided or the DIN rail mains adapter (optional) to supply the
monitor. The mains adapter must be installed close to the monitor and must be easily accessible.
[4]. Important: The distance between the 2 monitors must not exceed 50 m. Use a 2-wire cable with a minimum cross-section
of 0.5 mm².
Connect the additional monitor (Monitor 2) to the existing monitor (Monitor 1) using the M+ and M- connectors pre-installed
on the rear of the monitors, and respect the connection direction:
- terminal M + on monitor 1 to terminal M + on monitor 2
- terminal M - on monitor 1 to terminal M - on monitor 2.
[5]. Clip the additional monitor onto its mounting bracket by first positioning the top of the monitor on the station, then the
bottom.
Note: Position the mains power adapter wires between the mounting bracket and the monitor. If necessary, feed these wires
behind the central bar of the bracket.
