Avoid touching the outer wall of the unit as this may become hot.

Caution! The unit becomes hot. Risk of scalding by escaping steam and

residual heat. Also after switching off the unit touchable surface will be
still hot for some time.
Do not operate the unit below sensitive furniture, because escaping

steam might damage the same.
Touch the unit at the handle only.

Make sure there is always enough water in the unit (minimum 0.5 litre)

in order to prevent boiling dry.
Do not bring the tea mixture to the boil, otherwise it may bubble over.

Make sure that the unit is used only in combination with the base station

provided. Never use the base station for another purpose.
Switch on the unit only after having filled in the water. Use cold tap

water only.
