• To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting rotating parts, always stop the
machine and make sure all moving parts have stopped, remove the plug from the mains:
- before cleaning or clearing a blockage
- when leaving the product unattended
- before installing or removing attachments
- before checking, maintaining or working on the product
- if the machine starts to vibrate abnormally (inspect immediately)
- after striking a foreign object to inspect the machine for damage;
4.5 TRIMMING TIPS
• Hold the product firmly with a gap between the product and your right side.
• Stand upright, do not lean forward and pay attention to posture. Keep both feet apart to
help retain your balance.
• Hold the trimmer head just above the ground at an angle of approximately 30°.
• Move the product with a slow regular arc from left to right before moving it back to the
starting position before trimming the next area.
• Ensure the cutting device remains clean and free from off-cuts that may cause it to jam.
Check regularly.
• Release the on/off switch 2 before checking.
• Trim longer grass in stages; do not cut long grass in one cut. For the best results, cut
longer grass in steps.
• Line feeding : During use, the tip of the trimming line will get shorter due to wear.
Regularly check the condition of the trimming line and adjust if necessary.
• Manual feeding : Turn power head 7 upside down. Press the release push button 11
while pulling on the trimming line. The spool will release trimming line. Repeat until the
worn part of the trimming line exceeds the distance to the knife. Excess line will be cut by
the knife and should always remain inside the radius of the guard.
If the product is dropped, suffers heavy impact or begins to
vibrate abnormally, immediately stop the product and inspect
for damage or identify the cause of the vibration. Any damage
should be properly repaired or replace by an authorized service
center.
