English
1. INPUT ("Balanced audio - Input")
Input compatible with cables with balanced XLR connectors. Used for connection of the audio signal from the
mixer or from another subwoofer.
2. OUTPUT ("Balanced Audio - Link/Xover output)
Output compatible with cables with balanced XLR connectors.
It is possible to select the type of audio signal output from this connector using the "MODE" selector (LINK or
Xover):
"LINK" – Audio output connected in parallel to the input (1) that can be used to send a signal to the input
of another active speaker.
"Xover" – Audio output of the internal crossover. The signal from this output can be sent to any other
active speaker.
The crossover frequency can be selected using the "Xover" selector (7).
3. SUB ATTENUATION
This control adjusts the sensitivity of the subwoofer signal by regulating the input signal. This control does not
affect the level of the "LINK-Xover" output (2).
We recommend setting this control to 0 dB before installation and use.
4. DELAY CONTROL ("Subwoofer Delay" [ms])
This control allows you to set a delay for the audio signal reproduced by the subwoofer from 0ms to 5.0ms
(in steps of 0.5ms). This control enables you to align the outputs of multiple subwoofers or a line-array and
subwoofer, and also to compensate for different positions.
5. POLARITY SELECTOR ("Polarity")
Lets you reverse the audio polarity of the subwoofer. This can be useful to align the phases of multiple
subwoofers with each other, or that of one subwoofer with the line-array units, and for cardioid configurations.
The selector switch allows 180° rotation of the audio signal reproduced by the subwoofer.
6. "LINK" OR "XOVER" MODE SELECTOR
This selector allows to you select the type of signal to be sent through the output connector (2).
7. XOVER FREQUENCY SELECTOR ("Xover [Hz]")
Allows you to select the crossover frequency between 70 Hz and 120 Hz (in steps of 5 Hz) output on connector [2]
in Xover mode.
8. STATUS LEDs
The LEDs provide an immediate indication of the status of the subwoofer, in accordance with the logic
summarised in the following table:
Power up
Use
Partial malfunction
Total malfunction
CYCLIC FLASHING
9. RDNet NETWORK INPUT CONNECTOR ("Data In")
Compatible with network cables with etherCON/RJ45 connectors. It must be connected to devices such as RDNet
Control 2 or Control 8.
