
Risk of death in case of interrupted protective earth conductor!
– The protective earth conductor (yellow/green) must never be interrupted, either inside or
outside of the device.
– The insulation of the protective earth conductor must never be damaged or removed.

Dangerous voltage!
After opening the housing, parts are accessible which may be charged with dangerous voltage. Switch
off the power supply before working on the device.

Device ventilation slots must not be covered! The devices must be hung in A4 mounting frames or
placed on hard, flame-resistant surfaces so that air can flow into them unhindered. The devices are
cooled primarily by convection.

Set the device up so that activation of switches and disconnectors is not made difficult.

Electrical connections may only be established and interrupted in the absence of voltage!

Operate the frequency converter only in a closed control cabinet.

The operator unit may only be used when fully installed!
The operator unit is an open device. The operator unit may only be used when fully installed, and can be
operated from its front panel.

Unintended operating states!
High-frequency radiation, e.g. from mobile phones, may trigger unintended operating states.

Read the operating instructions carefully!

Warning
The device may generate high frequency interference in residential areas, which may make it necessary
to implement interference suppression measures. When operated in non-industrial applications,
connection to the public mains must be approved by the network operator.
