Product description
The B72/DGS card is a device with the function to eliminate the
residual magnetism caused by the uninterrupted power supply of
the electro lock when the barrier is completely closed, facilitating
the release of the bar when the opening command arrives.
The device is supplied for barriers with integrated control board
CTRL (compatible with firmware P4.10 or later and it must be
used only with BAFS/05).
3
Reports
A RED LED (L1) is mounted on the control board that blinks briefly
when demagnetization is performed.
4
Technical characteristics
Power supply input
30% modulated voltage
(terminals 1,2)
Vmax = 40Vdc
Exit - (terminals 3,4)
Imax = 280mA
Overload protection
thermal, with PTC
NOTE: the activation of the anomaly protection in the current
absorption causes the intervention of the PTC thermal protection;
in this situation the electro lock will not be powered. To restore
correct operation, disconnect the power supply to the control unit
(or alternatively activate the release key that removes power from
the +ES output) and wait 1 minute.
5
Installation
1. Apply the double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the casing
of the B72/DGS board.
2. Fix the casing inside the BOX of the CTRL control unit, on the
ENCODER, LED LIGHT and LOCKS terminal board side.
3. Connect the B72/DGS board as shown in figure 2.
WARNING: If the polarity of the connection to terminals 1 and 2
is reversed, the electro lock will never be powered, preventing the
safety function.
4
6
Setting parameters
The functions of the B72/DGS board are enabled and disabled
with parameter 29 of the CTRL control unit.

Electroblock type selection
Magnetic "ventouse" type electroblock with dema-
gnetizer B72/DGS
NOTE: In the case of MASTER/SLAVE installation,
03
in order to use the selection par. 29 = 03 it is
necessary that both control units have firmware
P4.10 (or later).
7
Initial testing
The testing must be performed by qualified technical personnel.
The installer is required to measure impact forces and select on
the control unit the appropriate speed and torque values to ensure
that the motorised door or gate remains within the limits defined
by the standards EN 12453 and EN 12445.
1) With the arm closed, check that the electro lock device ensures
locking to the support.
2) Give an opening command and check that the drive is preceded
by the release of the arm by the electro lock (LED L1 blinks briefly).
3) When the barrier closes again, the electro lock is activated
again: now activate the release of the barrier, and check that after
a few seconds the barrier is free to be moved by hand.
4) Lock the mechanics again.
