Warning about property damage
Do not use abrasive or astringent detergents or tools which could scratch the surface. These
could damage the heating zone (2).
Clean the side surfaces and the power cable (1) with a slightly damp cloth.
Dirt and burnt-on food residues on the surface of the heating zone (2) can be cleaned off using a scraper
for glass hotplates and an appropriate detergent.

9. Troubleshooting

If your induction hotplate does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the
problem. If working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" on page 54).

Remedy
Connect the power cable (1) to a live mains
socket.
Press and hold the + (10) and - (12) buttons for
3 seconds to deactivate the child lock.
Place a pan on the heating zone (2).
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Place a pan on the heating zone (2).
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Only use cookware with a base diameter of
between 12 and 22 cm and place it on the
centre of the heating zone (2).
The cooling fan may be faulty. In this case,
contact our hotline. See the "Warranty
information" on page 54.
