When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
• This type of refrigerator is widely used in places such as hotels, offices, students dormi-
tories and house. It adopts high efficiency compressor and classic structural distribution.
It enjoys the advantages of low electricity consumption, freezing capability and easy use.
Caution: When defrosting, never use any sharp or metallic objects to remove the frost on the
surface of the evaporator as this will damage the evaporator.
• Do not store bottled beverage in the freezing compartment, so as to prevent it from being
broken and damaging the refrigerator.
• Replug the electric power again at an interval of over ten minutes.
• It must be checked that the voltage used should be the same as the rated voltage before
using the refrigerator.
• The power plug should have its own separated socketin order to prevent the electric wire
from being overheated by other plugs.
• Do not splash water on to the refrigerator. Otherwise it may cause malfunctions of the re-
frigerator or electric shock.
• Do not store flammable materials such as alcohol, gasoline, LP gas and glue in the refrig-
erator.
WARNING: Food should not be stored in the freezer in contact with its wall. When the sur-
face of the evaporator freezes it creates a thin layer of ice that would end up turning any-
thing in contact with this part of the freezer into a block of ice, which would also hinder the
correct functioning of the product.
1. Do not tilt the refrigerator for more than 45° from upright when moving it. Do not apply
force to any part such as the condenser, the door and its handle in order to prevent the
refrigerator from deforming, or else its performance will be influenced.
2. Ensure that there is enough space around the refrigerator in order to let it work well.
3. The refrigerator should be kept away from high temperature, sunshine or humid conditions.
1. When operating the refrigerator for the first time, set the thermostatic dial at 3, connect
the electric wire and run it without loading any food. Usually this takes 2 or 3 hours. Then
set the thermostatic dial at the desired setting and place food into the refrigerator.
2. The temperature of the refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the thermostatic dial. Set-
ting the thermostatic dial at 3 - 4is the most suitable for general operation. When the ther-
mostatic dial number is higher, the refrigeration capability is stronger.
3. Do not put too much food in the refrigerator. Open the door less in order to maintain the
temperature of the refrigerator and save on electricity consumption.
4. When making ice cubes, fill the ice-making case with drinkable water and put into the
freezer. It takes about 2 or 3 hours to make ice cubes. Pieces of ice cubes can be removed
by twisting it. Do not press it up and down otherwise it may be broken.
5. Defrost the freezer whenever the layer of frost on the surface reaches 3 or 4 mm. When
defrosting, remove all food, set the thermostat at 0 position and open the door. After the
frost has melted, discard the water and dry up the interior of the refrigerator. It can be then
restarted by turning its thermostat to the desired setting.
