Command Reference
DATE/TIME/MINUTE SEARCH (B3H)
Initiates a search for a specific date/time/minute.
Send this command, followed by the date, time and
minute then send the end command (40H).
Send FF to search forward or REW to search
backward.
Example: To search forward for the 16th, 15:10.

Initiates a search for a specific date/time.
Send this command, followed by the date and time
then send the end command (40H).
Send FF to search forward or REW to search
backward.
Example: To search forward for the 16th, 15 o'clock.

Note
When T/D SEARCH is set to CONV. on the GENERAL
SET menu and this command is sent, the VCR will return
NAK (0B) (B3H command).
When T/D SEARCH is set to NEW and this command is
sent, "00" will be input as the unit of the minute (B2H
command).

VCR Setup Commands

R/P SPEED SET (7EH)
Sets the recording/playback speed.
Send 3 bytes of numeric data (30H to 39H) after the
R/P SPEED SET (7EH) command and then send the
end command (40H).
Example: Setting the speed to 24H

COUNT RESET (E2H)
Resets the counter.

CLOCK ADJUST (E0H)
When this command is sent during stop, it resets the
minute and second to 00 . For example, when this
command is sent between 13:30:00 and 14:29:59, the
clock is reset to 14:00:00.
TRACKING UP (50H)
Sets the tracking one step up.
When this commend is sent in pause mode, it sets the
0A
vertical alignment one step up.
TRACKING DOWN (51H)
Sets the tracking one step down.
When this commend is sent in pause mode, it sets the
vertical alignment one step down.
TRACKING CENTER (52H)
Sets the tracking to the neutral position (center).

Menu Setup Commands

MENU (74H)
Displays the menu.
MENU V (64H)
Shifts the cursor on the menu to the item below.
Moves the date/time display downwards.
MENU B (63H)
Displays the sub-menu.
Moves the date/time display rightwards.
MENU + (65H)
MENU – (66H)
Changes the setting of the selected item.
MENU RESET (E1H)
Resets menu settings.
