Control elements

Control element on the basic frame is a toggle.
On the rotating device of the magazine and at the extension arm you can find locking bolts to secure the position. The
reels will be fixed to the unit by wing nuts and locking bolts.
Before using after storage: Check the Tornado Master 5.0 for rust and damages and refill all
lubricants of the machine or of machine components.

Start-up
7.3.1
Before start-up of the Tornado Master 5.0 check the unit for impurities or interfering objects. Then the Tornado Master
5.0 can be started up.
7.3.2
Restarting after a longer period of inactivity
Check the Tornado Master 5.0 for impurities, interfering objects, possible rust formation, sufficient lubrication and the
undamaged condition of the electrical elements. Then the Tornado Master 5.0 can be started up.
7.4
Setting the tensile force limit
With the included fork spanner and the spring balance, the tensile force limit can be adjusted by tightening or loosening
the hexagon nut on the reel axle.
The Tornado Master 5.0 is designed for many different fencing materials, so it is useful to set the desired tension during
the first set-up.
When the desired tension has been reached, you can mark the setting on the spring balance. To do this, hang the spring
balance on the rotary knob (or another suitable, reproducible point on the reel) and switch on the motor via the toggle
switch.
The maximum value displayed is your current tensile force.
The required tensile force may be different depending on the used fencing material. We recommend

a value between 0.8 kg (polywire) and 1.3 kg (polyropes and polytapes up to 12.5 mm). The end
of the fencing material is not allowed to be fixed (knot) to the reel unit. Otherwise the unit may be
damaged if the end of the fencing material is not stopped in time.
