Start-up

Plug the system's mains plug into a fused socket.
The components (solenoid valve, mains plug and level sensor) are already pre-fitted on the circuit
breaker (circuit board, Fig. 2). No further installation work is required here.
Once the device has been plugged in, it is ready for operation.
If the tank is empty, the float switch opens the feed valve at the lower switch-on point. Mains water is fed
to the tank until the upper switch-off point is reached.
At this point the feed valve closes automatically.

Maintenance and care

5.1

Maintenance

The complete system must be visually inspected at regular intervals (every 3 months). During each
inspection, all connections should be checked to make sure they are still tight. The function of the float
switch in the underground tank should also be checked. To do this, the float should be moved up and
down on its shaft (Fig. 3). This must cause the feed valve to switch and mains water to be supplied into
the tank.
If the system will not be used for a long period or if there is a risk of frost, the system should be emptied.
The system must only be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place.
5.2

Care

To care for and clean the system it is sufficient to wipe it down with a damp cloth. To remove heavier
soiling, a mild cleaning agent can also be used. Never clean with solvents or products containing
solvents.
