7 .4 Using the Auto Cooking Presets

This section describes how to use the auto cooking
presets to set the cooking time based on the food type
and weight. The cooking time is approximate and is
effected by the weight, shape, and starting temperature
of the food.

9.0 oz (255 g), 18.0 oz (510 g), 27.0 oz (765 g)
Pasta
1.8 oz (50 g), 3.5 oz (99 g), 5.5 oz (156 g)
Pizza
7.0 oz (198 g), 14.0 oz (397 g)
Popcorn
3.5 oz (99 g)
Vegetable
7.0 oz (198 g), 14.0 oz (397 g), 21.0 oz (595 g)
Drink
1 c (240 ml), 2 c (480 ml), 3 c (710 ml)
Meat
7.0 oz (198 g), 14.0 oz (397 g), 21.0 oz (595 g)
Reheat
7.0 oz (198 g), 14.0 oz (397 g), 21.0 oz

1. Place the food in the microwave and close the door.
2. Press the auto cooking key corresponding to the
food type until the display shows the desired weight.
3. Press Start.
4. Halfway through the cooking process, open the
microwave door, turn over the food, close the
microwave door and press Start to resume auto
cooking.
5. To remove the food before the auto cooking cycle is
complete, press Stop once to clear the auto cooking
setting.
The beep sounds when the cooking time is complete.

7 .5 Defrosting

This section describes how to defrost food based on its
weight or a selected time.
1. Place the food in the microwave and close the door.
2. Press Defrost until the display shows the desired
method.

3. Use the number keys to input the weight (in ounces)
or time.
4. Press Start.

If defrosting by weight, the microwave will buzz

7 .6 Setting a Timer

This function allows a timer to be set when the
microwave is not in use.
1. Press Timer.
2. Use the number keys to input the time.
The maximum time is 99:99 (MM:SS).

3. Press Start.
The beep will sound when the countdown is done.

8 Maintenance


WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK, AND/OR

warnings could result in death or serious
injury:
• Always disconnect the unit from power before
cleaning and/or servicing. Maintenance must be
done by a qualified service person only.
• Do not allow food deposits or grease to build up on
the waveguide cover.
NOTICE: To prevent damage to the turntable, allow the
turntable to cool down before cleaning.
NOTICE: To prevent scratches to the window that could
cause the glass to shatter, do not use harsh abrasive
cleaners or metal tools to clean the glass.
