To avoid damage to the cosmetic finish
on the screws, a non-marring driver bit is
recommended.

6 .2 Setting up the Microwave

This section describes the steps to take prior to using the
microwave for the first time.
1. Remove all packaging materials from the inside of the
microwave door.
2. Remove any plastic film that may be on the control
panel or door of the microwave.
3. Inspect the microwave for damage to the door and its
components. If damage is found, do not operate the
microwave. Contact an authorized service center for
repairs or replacement.

4. Place the turntable ring on the floor of the microwave.
5. Fit the hub on the underside of the turntable onto the
turntable shaft.
6. Position the rotating ring so it is centered under the
turntable and in the microwave. The turntable and
turntable ring should rotate freely as a unit in either
direction.

6 .3 Setting the Clock

This section describes how to set the time on the clock.
1. Press and hold 0 for three seconds. The microwave
will beep and the colon (:) will stop flashing.
2. Use the number keys to input the time in HH:MM
format. For example, 2:30 is entered 0230.
The clock uses the 12-hour cycle.

3. Press Start.

6 .4 Locking the Control Panel

This section describes how to lock the keys on the
control panel for cleaning or as a child safety feature.
Press and hold Stop for three seconds to toggle the
child lock on or off.

7 Operation


WARNING: FIRE, BURN, AND/OR EXPLOSION
HAZARD . Failure to obey the following
warnings could result in death or serious
injury:
• Do not leave the microwave unattended when
paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are
inside the microwave during operation.
• In the case of smoke or fire, turn off the microwave
or disconnect the power cord. Keep the microwave
door closed to smother any flames.
• All surfaces, including the microwave's door, can
remain hot after operation. Take care to avoid
touching the waveguide cover or other hot surfaces.
• Containers and cookware may become hot because
of heat transferred from the heated food. Potholders
may be required.
• Liquids and food should not be heated in sealed
containers because they could explode.
• Heating liquids can lead to a delayed sudden
eruption of scalding liquid, so use care when
handling the container.
• Do not fry food in the microwave. Hot oil can
damage microwave parts and cause burns.
