Assembly and Usage

Unpacking the Product

• Remove everything from the box – Joovy Caboose RS Car Seat Adapter, and documents (not shown).
• Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
Installing the Adapter and Car Seat
• Remove the front tray from the stroller.
• Line up the male brackets on the bottom of the adapter with the female brackets on the stroller
frame. (1)
• Push down on both sides of the adapter until both brackets click into place. (2) Pull the adapter up
on both sides to ensure it is secure.
• Push the canopy to its most rearward position.
• ADJUST THE SEAT TO ITS SECOND (MIDDLE) POSITION.
• Hold the car seat by the carry handle. Orient the car seat so that it faces the rear of the stroller
and lower the car seat onto the adapter. Adjust the backrest upwards until it can firmly support
the car seat. (3)
• Pull each side of the restraining strap up and over the car seat and the baby. Buckle the
restraining straps over the LOWEST part of the car seat and over the baby. (4)
• Adjust the straps so they are tight around the car seat but AWAY from the child's neck. Pull up on
the infant car seat to ensure it is secure.
Removing the Car Seat and Adapter
• To remove the infant car seat from the stroller, unlock the restraining strap buckle by pressing the
button and both side releases. (5)
• Grasp the car seat handle and pull the car seat up and off the adapter.
• Press in on the adapter release buttons on BOTH sides of the adapter brackets and lift the adapter
off the stroller. (6)
I WARNING:
so that it is resting ON the seatback, but NOT on the top of the
seatback. NEVER position the restraining straps on or near the
child's neck as this may result in strangulation. When reinstalling
the infant car seat onto the adapter, ALWAYS rebuckle the
restraining strap and secure it tightly.
