Replace the filter if it appears to be dam-
aged, to prevent it from compromising the
appliance's performance.
• If you wish to continue working, reassem-
ble the filter by performing the procedure
described above in reverse. The filter will
last about 100 hours of operation.
PROBLEM
The appliance does not turn
on.
The appliance is on but does
not supply steam.
No steam comes out, light (F)
remains on with acoustic
sound.
Light (F) flashing and buzzer. Shortage of water in the boiler.
No detergent comes out, light
(G) flashing and acoustic
sound.

MONDIAL VAP 6000
It is easy to empty the water tank (I) and the
detergent tank (J).
To empty the tanks, simply open the tank
drain tap (29). Close again when empty.
NOTE: Be sure to position a recipient large
enough under the tank you wish to empty.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
Power cord not inserted
Main switch (A) is off
The appliance is not pressurised
yet.
Water in the tank (I) is depleted. Turn off the appliance and fill it up
Detergent in the tank (J) is
depleted.

EMPTYING TANKS (I) and (J)
SOLUTION
Connect the power cord to a suitable
electric socket.
Turn on the main switch (A).
Wait for the steam ready light to go
off (E).
again, as described in the paragraph
"FILLING THE WATER (I) AND
DETERGENT (J) TANK".
Turn off the appliance and then turn it
on again. If the defect continues,
please contact an authorised service
centre, see the paragraph "NO
WATER IN BOILER".
Turn off the appliance and top up the
level of detergent as described in the
paragraph "FILLING THE WATER (I)
AND DETERGENT (J) TANK".
