Using quick-change fittings (see fig. 4-5)
• Attach hose clamp 26 to the end of hose 25 (see
fig. 4.1).
• Install quick-change fitting 28
• Tighten the screw of hose clamp 26
• Install quick-change adapter 29 on outlet fitting 12
(see fig. 4.2).
• When connecting, insert (until it clicks) quick-change
fitting 28 into quick-change adapter 29 (see fig. 5.1).
• When disconnecting, move the bush of the quick-
change adapter 29, as shown in fig. 5.2, and remove
quick-change fitting 28
Initial operating
of the appliance
Make sure the voltage matches technical specifica-
tions printed on the appliance
• Check power cable and extension cord condi-
tion; if any damage is detected, the cable shall be
replaced
• Check the condition of the air hose; if damaged,
replace it
Switching the
appliance on / off
Before connecting the appliance to the mains,
make sure that on / off switch 10 is in the down
position ("OFF").
Switching on:
Move on / off switch 10 upwards (see fig. 61, 71)
Switching off:
Move on / off switch 10 downwards (see fig. 62, 72)
Design features
of the appliance
Oil-free air compressors
Oil-free air compressors do not require oil changes,
and piston sliding is achieved by using materials with a
low coefficient of friction. It makes easier their using, and
the received compressed air does not contain oil impuri-
ties Also these compressors has light weight and lower
price, which is an ideal choice for the home workshop
Automatic switching on / off
After switching on, the appliance operates in a cyclic
mode: pressure relay 9 maintains the constant pres-
sure value in receiver 18, switching on / off the appli-
ance depending on the consumption of compressed
air by connected pneumatic tools When the appli-
ance is being switched on, the air is sucked through
air filter and injected into receiver 18 through pip-
ing 11 When the maximum pressure value (the value
of this parameter is set at the factory) is reached,
pressure relay 9 is activated and the electric motor
is switched off Excess air from piping 11 and cyl-
inder is discharged through the unloading valve 15
Thus, there is no excess pressure in cylinder and
piping 11 - this reduces the load on the electric motor
the next time when the appliance is started If pres-
sure inside receiver 18 drops to the minimum value,
the electric motor starts up and the appliance starts
pumping air into receiver 18 until it reaches the maxi-
mum value The appliance operates in this mode as
long as on / off switch 10 is in the up position ("ON")
If the appliance does not switch off automatically when
the maximum pressure is reached, then the excess
pressure is discharged through safety valve 14 In this
case it is necessary to immediately contact a dedicat-
ed DWT repair workshop
Temperature protection
Temperature protection prevents from damage to the
appliance, switching it off during excessive loads and
overheating For example, when using pneumatic tools
whose air consumption exceeds the appliance capac-
ity, or when filter element 32 is clogged, etc This pro-
tects the electric motor against overload
When temperature protection is activated button 6 snap
off and appliance switched off In this case, unplug the
appliance from the mains, eliminate the cause that trig-
gered the protection, allow the appliance to cool down,
press and release button 6, switch on the appliance (as
described above) and then continue working
Aluminium motor wiring
[K13-15 OA-AL, K13-30 OA-AL, K26-50 OA-AL]
These compressor models are lightweight and lower in
price due to the aluminium motor wiring
Copper motor wiring
[K13-15 OA-CU, K13-30 OA-CU, K26-50 OA-CU]
These compressor models are more reliable and heat
up less during operation due to the copper motor wiring
on the appliance operation
Before starting work
• It's recommended to install the appliance on a flat
horizontal surface, this reduces the risk of the appli-
ance turn-over during operation However, it is allowed
to install the appliance on sloped surfaces, this does
not affect its performance in any way (but you must
first make sure that the appliance can not turn-over
during operation)
• Connect pneumatic tools to the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the mains
• Open the valve(s) on outlet fitting(s) 12
• When carrying out works related to spraying liquids,
make sure that no drops of liquid get on the appliance
• If you need to move the appliance during opera-
tion, disconnect it from the mains and depressurize
receiver 18, and then transport
• If case of any side sounds or strong vibrations on
the part of the appliance, immediately switch it off and
contact the DWT service center
General recommendations
• Switch on the appliance
• Do not overload the appliance The operating mode
of the appliance is intermittent with the cyclic dura-
tion factor of up to 55%, while the duration of a cycle
is 6-10 minutes It is allowed to operate the device con-
