FREQUENTLY ASKED
Against which wind load
is the terrace covering
resistant?
Wind tunnel tests were conducted to
determine the wind forces against which
our terrace coverings and vertical sun
protection are resistant.
The Lapure can handle wind speeds up
to 100 km/h (10Bft) with an unrolled roof.
You can operate the roof in wind speeds
up to 50 km/h (7Bft).
An unrolled vertical Fixscreen does not
give any problems up to 60 km/h (7Bft).
You can operate the Fixscreen upwards
in wind speeds up to 30 km/h (5Bft).
Bear in mind to open your roof or your
Fixscreen in time in case of stormy
weather!
QUESTIONS
Can the vertical Fixscreen
sun protection fabrics
stay downwards in strong
winds?
The Fixscreen sun protection fabrics
must be erected at wind speeds of
more than 60 km/h.
It is strongly recommended that you
use the wind sensor!
Only operate the sun protection
fabric downwards at wind speeds up
to 30 km/h.
