CAUTION! If the pH of the solution used for calibration differs from the
default value it is possible to adjust these values during calibration using the
UP and DOWN buttons.
CHANGING THE TEMPERATURE UNIT
To change the unit of temperature measurement, start the instrument and press and
hold the DOWN button (4) in the measurement state.
HOLD MODE
This function is used to freeze the value on the display. To activate this function press
UP (3) button during measurement.
The display will show the HOLD symbol. Press the UP button again briefly to cancel
the hold.
SWITCH OFF FUNCTION AFTER A SET TIME
To activate this function, switch on the device and briefly press the ON/OFF button
while in measurement mode. In this way the device will automatically switch off after
15 minutes of inactivity. This function is indicated by the clock symbol on the display.

a) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
b) Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.
c) Do not leave the batteries in the unit when it will not be used for a long time.
d) Avoid touching the probe directly with your hand, this can damage it!
e) Always put the probe cover back on when the device will not be used for a long
time.
f) The probe should be kept moist, therefore a small amount of special liquid
should be placed in the probe cover after each use.
The use of 3.0 mol/l potassium chloride solution is recommended. Do not use
tap water or demineralized water for this purpose!
