Ionisation function

This hair dryer is equipped with an ionising function:
When drying the hair using a hair dryer, the hair takes on a static charge and
begins to "fly".
The ionisation function ensures that this charging of the hair is neutralised and
cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style.
Please note, however, that the ionisation function will only work optimally if the
attachments (finger diffuser 8/styling nozzle 1) are removed as the attachment
will interfere with the application of the ions to the hair. Therefore, use the hair
dryer without attachments for maximum ionisation effect.

Drying and styling hair

■ For quick hair drying, we first recommend using a high blower and heater
setting for a short period. After slightly drying the hair, switch to a lower
blower and heater level to shape the hair.
With the supplied styling nozzle 1 you can apply a directed airflow to

shape and style your hair. Place the styling nozzle 1 on the front of the hair
dryer such that it engages and is seated firmly into place.
If you no longer require the styling nozzle 1, wait until the appliance has

cooled down and pull it off with a downwards snapping motion:
■ If you want to dry your hair very gently, or use the dryer with so-called "air-
dried perms", attach the finger diffuser 8. First remove the styling nozzle 1,
if it is fitted, and then attach the finger diffusor 8, such that it engages and is
seated firmly into place.
