• Fill the tank with fuel - to do this unscrew the tank cap and fill the tank
taking care not to pour fuel over the maximum level indicator i.e. the red
mark on the filter located in the tank filler hole. Replace the filler cap by
tightening it all the way.

Starting the generator

a) Make sure that no load is connected to the generator. If there is,
disconnect it.
b) Set the installation switch on the control panel to the "OFF" position.
c) Set the fuel valve to the open position, i.e. with the lever in the vertical
position - "ON" (see appropriate pictogram on the casing above the
lever)
d) Throttle valve ("THROTTLE") set in closed position - "CLOSE".
In case of warm engine start this valve should be in open position -
"OPEN".
e) Set the ignition switch on the control panel to the "ON" position.
f) Grasp the starter jerk handle and slowly pull away from the unit until
you feel resistance, then pull with a firm motion, keeping the jerk
the generator to grounding.
