7.6 FREE TRAINING WITHOUT AND WITH TARGET VALUE
7.6.1 Preparing the Free training
•
Make sure the safety clip is NOT attached to the plug-position on the console.
•
Attach safety clip firmly to clothing with short cord.
•
Hold on to a handle with one hand. Place the feet on the rails to the left and right of the treadmill.
Optional: Setting a target value
MODE' - Press the button on the control panel until the desired parameter flashes on the display
•
(DISTANCE, TIME or CAL ).
- Press the 'SPEED +' or 'SPEED -' button until the desired TARGET value is displayed.
- DISTANCE:
1.0 to 65.0 km.
- TIME PERIOD:
5:00 to 99:00 minutes
- CALORIES:
10 to 995 kcal
7.6.2 Performing the training
Whether or not you have set a target value, perform the Free training as follows:
Attach the safety clip to the plug-position on the console.
•
When you are ready, press the Start button on the console. The treadmill starts moving.
•
•
Set your feet on the treadmill in quick succession and start walking.
•
If desired, change the speed and/or incline of the treadmill with the corresponding buttons on the
control panel. Never overexert yourself!
If you want to stop the training, press the 'Stop' button on the control panel.
•
•
If a target value is set, the computer stops automatically when it is reached.
In case of danger, pull off the safety clip or press the stop button!

7.7 HRC TRAINING (TARGET PULSE TRAINING)
Use a pulse belt for the HRC training! During HRC training, the computer regulates the incline and, if
necessary, the speed of the treadmill so that you train at your selected target heart rate. Speed ranges:
HRC1: approx. 12 km/h; HRC2: approx. 16 km/h; HRC3: approx. 20 km/h
Press the 'BMI' key until the desired speed range appears (HRC1, HRC2, HRC3).

Entering duration
A duration of 30 min is preselected by default. To change:
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel until 'TIME' flashes on the display and 'TMr' appears.
•
Press the 'SPEED +' or 'SPEED -' button until the desired time is displayed (5 .. 99 min).
•
Entering the age to determine maximum pulse (MHR)
By default, an age of 30 is set. To change:
•
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel until 'DIST' flashes on the display and 'AGE' appears.
Press the 'SPEED +' or 'SPEED -' button until the appropriate age is displayed (16 .. 80 years).

Entering the target pulse
By default, a factor of 0.6 (=60 %) of the age-appropriate maximum heart rate (MHR) is selected. It can
be changed between 0.45 and 0.75 (=45% to 75%). For this:
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel until 'SPEED' flashes on the display and 'PUL' appears.

Press the 'SPEED +' or 'SPEED -' button until the desired target pulse factor is displayed in the 'SPEED'
•
field and the corresponding target pulse is shown in the 'PULSE' field.
