WARNING
RISK OF INJURY AND
DAMAGE!
If you heat too much water in the kettle,
hot water may spurt out of the water
container. If you heat too little water, the
kettle may overheat and be damaged.
1. When filling the water, note that the
water level must be between MIN
and MAX on the level indicator.
2. Press the cover lock button to open
the cover.
3. Fill the desired amount of cold
water into the water container.
4. Place the water container on the
base.
5. Close the cover. Make sure that the
cover audibly engages.
6. Press the on/off switch down. The
on/off switch and level indicator
light up and the water heats up.
When the water boils, the kettle
automatically turns off and the light
goes out.
7. To interrupt the boiling process
prematurely, press the on/off
switch upwards.
8. Wait a moment until the water
stops bubbling.
9. Remove the water container from
the base.
10. Pour out the water slowly through
the pouring opening.
11. The manufacturer recommends not
to reheat stagnant water. Pour it
away or use it cooled for watering
flowers.
Dry run protection
To prevent damage to the kettle, the dry
run protection automatically switches on
when there is no liquid left in the kettle.
This function serves exclusively as a safety
device and is not intended to increase
operating comfort.
If the dry run protection has been
triggered:
• Remove the mains plug from the
plug socket.
• Allow the kettle to cool down.
Afterwards, you can use the kettle again as
usual.
Never touch the hot parts
of the kettle.
Only pick up the kettle
using the handle.
Keep away from escaping
water vapour.
Note that hot steam may
escape from the kettle
even after it has been
switched off!
Always close the cover
before turning on the
kettle. Make sure that the
cover audibly engages
and is locked.
When pouring out heated
water, always keep the
cover closed.
