7. Use tools, accessories and working tools according to the indications in this instruction manual
and as indicated for each type of tool. The working conditions and the area of operation must
also be taken into account. The use of power tools for purposes other than those intended for the
respective tool may result in dangerous situations.
Appropriate handling and use of battery
1. Make sure that the device has been switched off before inserting the battery. Inserting a battery
into a switched-on power tool may lead to accidents!
2. Only use charging devices recommended by the manufacturer to charge thebatteries. Charging
units are designed for certain types of batteries; if used with other types there is a risk of fire!
3. Only use batteries designed for your power tool. The use of other batteries may lead to injury and
risk of fire!
4. Keep unused batteries clear of paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects that may bridge the contacts. A short circuit between the battery contacts may lead to
burns or fire!
5. Improper use may result in fluid leaking out of the battery. Avoid any contact with battery
fluid. Flush with water in case of contact. If battery fluid should get into your eyes, seek
medical advice additionally. Leaking battery fluid may lead to irritations of the skin or burns!
ATTENTION! Have the power tool serviced by qualified technical personnel only; repairs
should be carried out using exclusively original spare parts. This will ensure the safe operation of the
power tool.

Appropriate handling an use of the olive shaker
1. Make sure that the working head is not supported when starting up.
2. Remove fruit, falling olives and branches in sections, be careful not to be hit by falling fruit, olives or
branches that hit the ground and bounce off.
3. Use the machine outdoors only.
4. wear eye, hand, and ear protection when operating the unit. If working in a dusty environment, wear
a face or dust mask. A long-sleeved shirt is recommended. Working without protection can cause
serious eye injury or hearing loss.
5. Wear thick, long pants, boots (non-skid) and gloves. Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry, shorts, sandals
and do not walk barefoot. Wear your hair tied back, if necessary, use a hairnet.
6. Adjust the handle bar to your height so that you have the unit under control.
7. Operate the unit in daylight or with adequate artificial lighting.
8. Avoid starting the machine by accident. The user and the machine should be in a stable position
before the machine is turned on.
9. Always have a secure footing and maintain your balance.
10. When operating the unit, always hold the harvester firmly with both hands.
11. Do not use the unit in adverse weather conditions or if there is a risk of rain or storm.
