B1.5 Permitted assembly diagrams
Carry out the assembly according to one of the diagrams shown below.
Installation 1.

Any other configuration could lead to incorrect operation of the equipment.
BravoFIL PLUS can be installed horizontally and vertically but with the filter drain always facing
downwards.
Attention! It is essential to install the filter respecting the direction of the water flow indicated
by the arrow stamped on the brass head of the filter.
BravoFIL PLUS has a 360° rotating rear connection plate (in 90° steps). To change the orientation
of the attachment plate, just loosen the 4 Allen head locking nuts (use a 6 mm Allen key).
Rotate the plate in the desired direction, taking care to correctly position the white shaped gasket
placed between the brass plate and the white head. Re-tighten the 4 locking nuts on the brass plate.
The installation of specific devices for absorbing water hammer is recommended to prevent
abnormal breakage of the reducer. To calibrate the pressure downstream of the reducer, just turn
the black knob of the reducer until the desired pressure value appears in the appropriate window.
Check the downstream pressure with the supplied pressure gauge. The calibration of the reducer
must be done in static conditions, without water flow. The shut-off valve downstream of the filter must
be closed.
The filter drain connection must be channeled to a visible drain connected to the sewer connection
in a stable manner. The filter drain must be positioned at a minimum distance of 20 mm from the
drain. If it is not possible to install a drain hose, the drain water can be collected in a bucket or similar
container.
