applies for private use at home. If the device is dropped, a metrolog-
ical inspection should be carried out promptly to check that it is still
measuring accurately.
Use the sticker enclosed in the packaging as a reminder of the date
when the next calibration of the device is due: mark the month and
note the year.
Calibration including the adjustment of the device can be performed
by ERKA. or one of their authorised maintenance service providers.
A metrological check without any adjustment to the device may also
be carried out by qualified technicians using calibrated instruments.

4.2 Disinfection
Disinfectants based on quaternary ammonium compounds are suita-
ble for disinfecting the TRACOE cpm.
5. Cleaning
The TRACOE cpm can be cleaned by wiping with a mild soap solu-
tion. Do not immerse in liquids. It can be disinfected by wiping with a
quaternary compound, e.g. alkyl dimethyl ammonia chlorides.
6. Returns
Returns of used products are accepted only if accompanied by a
completed decontamination certificate. You can obtain the required
form either directly from TRACOE medical or from the website
(www.tracoe.com).
